    We're On The Move

    by Julia Gash

    May

We're in the middle of our move to bigger premises, which is more fun and games than anticipated due to BT accidently cutting our phone lines a week early Undecided  That said, we've unearthed lots of interesting stuff that's been hiding in nooks and crannies at our old factory including some colourful, printed dresses and T-shirts from fashion collections I designed and sold to shops in the last century!  Check out this apple print dress on Lucy, who's the daughter of Martin, our designer.  Isn't she just cute as a button and looks so this season too!

Bag It Don't Bin It Go To Cookery School

    by Julia Gash

    Mar

Sheffield’s award winning The Milestone Restaurant has run a Cookery Master Class for the Bag It Don’t Bin It print production team. The idea for the class came about when we produced Jute hamper bags for The Milestone and we realised that our young production team could benefit from some culinary skills.  We invited their Head Chef to run a cookery class at our Eco-Bag Print Factory, which saw our guys cooking a gourmet meal.  Not only are they now a dab hand at printing eco-bags but they also know how to fillet a fish!

    Fairtrade Fortnight

    by Julia Gash

    28
    Feb

It's Fairtrade Fortnight ... a national campaign to encourage people to buy Fairtrade products, which offer 7.5 million people in the developing world a more secure future.  We at Bag It Don't Bin It fully back this campaign, which this year sees a focus on cotton. Unlike most of our competition, we only produce eco-bags with Fairtrade registered factories and to coincide with Fairtrade Fortnight we have become a license holder for the Fairtrade logo.  This means that you can now have the Fairtrade logo printed on the bag as an optional extra, demonstrating your ethical credentials to your customers.
